Our Farm
We are third-generation farmers, keeping our parents' vision alive by practicing clean and healthy farming. We choose to remain absolutely natural and use healthy earth and natural sunlight. We do not grow vegetables using artificial lights because we believe mother nature provides the best source of nutrients in healthy soil, clean water, and plenty of sunlight. This is how we produce green leaves and vegetables with full flavor and packed with all nature's goodness.

Know Your Farmer,
Trust Your Farmer
Our Methods
We make healthy eating possible and convenient for people. Since 1926, we have been selling our freshest and healthiest produce directly to consumers at farmers markets. Our customers trust us and appreciate the quality of our healthy produce evident in their appearance and aromas.

Since 2018 we have been experimenting with new farming methods with the aim to practice a more planet-friendly and sustainable farming, while improving the nutritional value of our produce and their range. For the past few years, we adopted hydroponics and float systems. These methods have allowed us to reduce our consumption of water and make our greens grow more efficiently.

In 2018, we also began growing microgreens for the local restaurants. We now have a wide range of microgreens not only for the renowned restaurants and chefs of our city, but also for the families and individuals who simply wish to improve their diet and nutrients intake.

About Microgreens and Why to Choose Ours
Microgreens are the young shoots of edible herbs and vegetables. They are harvested and eaten fresh usually, depending on the type of the vegetable, within two weeks of germination. The young shoots contain very high concentration of vitamins, which is there because it is necessary for the development of the young plants.

Studies have shown that microgreens can have up to 40 times more nutrients than their mature counterparts. They are also packed with flavor which makes them little explosions of taste and flavor in the mouth. While the amount of vitamins varies in each type of microgreens, the most common vitamins present in all microgreens are vitamin K, C and E, and Beta Carotene.
Vitamin K
Phylloquinone is a type of vitamin K that is primarily present in dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale and broccoli. Required for blood coagulation and the development of bones, this vitamin is abundant in microgreens as soon as they are exposed to the sunlight.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and an essential nutrient for human body as it helps maintain healthy cells, skin, bones and cartilage, and blood vessels. Fresh microgreens are an excellent source of vitamin C, containing higher amount than their mature plant counterparts.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps enhance the immune system, and prevents the formation of clots in heart arteries. Studies have shown that microgreens contain significant amount of vitamin E, in particular the micro-red cabbage that holds over 40 times the amount of its mature counterpart.

Beta Carotene
Beta Carotene is a strong antioxidant that is essential for healthy skin, good vision and a strong immune system. Beta Carotene is a provitamin A that is abundant in plants and more certainly so in Microgreens.
